Sidley is representing telecommunications hardware and software company, Casa Systems, Inc., and certain of its affiliates, in their Chapter 11 proceedings in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. On April 3, 2024, Casa Systems commenced Chapter 11 proceedings to sell substantially all of the company’s assets with the support of an ad hoc group of lenders holding over 98% of the company’s approximately US$183 million of funded debt. During the proceedings, which are expected to be completed in approximately 60 days, the company will market test prepetition commitments made by Lumine Group and Vecima Network Inc. for the purchase of Casa Systems’ 5G mobile core/RAN and cable businesses, respectively.
