Sidley is representing Perforce Software, a provider of solutions to enterprise teams backed by Francisco Partners and Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., in its acquisition of Puppet, an automation software platform which enables users to deliver, update, monitor, and secure software across physical and virtual machines. The acquisition of Puppet builds on Perforce’s existing DevOps portfolio and extends solutions to automate, scale, and integrate security and compliance across hybrid infrastructures. Together, the combined company will help drive innovation at its combined customer base, which includes 40 of the Fortune 50 companies. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
