Sidley is representing Cornerstone OnDemand in its acquisition of EdCast, a learning experience platform software provider. Backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., Cornerstone is a leader in adaptive cloud-based HR software solutions. This acquisition is the first planned transaction by Cornerstone since becoming part of the Clearlake portfolio in late 2021, and a strong fit with Cornerstone’s strategy to transform the learning software market landscape, and accelerate their vision to innovate and reimagine the growth experience for people at work. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
