Jonathan Lafferty, a senior managing associate in Sidley’s London office, has been shortlisted for recognition by The Law Society at its inaugural Legal Heroes Awards. The awards recognize the lawyers who have brought distinction to the legal profession and “made a demonstrative, lasting, and tangible difference to the life or lives of others, their local community, or society.”
Jonathan is a member of the firm’s London Pro Bono Committee and appears as an advocate for individuals at the Asylum Support Appeals Tribunal and in the Family Court. He is the lead associate in the firm’s partnership with the Free Family Representation & Advocacy Project, a charity that provides free family legal advice, representation, or support in the Family Court.
