Sidley is representing Allkem Limited (ASX: AKE) in its all-stock merger of equals with Livent Corporation (NYSE: LTHM), a transaction valued at approximately US$10.6 billion. The combination will create an integrated global lithium chemicals producer with enhanced business-critical scale and greater capacity to meet growing customer demand for lithium. The combined company will be positioned to capitalize on the expected growth in lithium demand from electric vehicles and energy storage solutions.
