P.C. WANG is a senior managing associate in the corporate group in Sidley’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s global Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group.
P.C. advises clients on executive compensation, equity compensation, and employee benefits issues in connection with corporate transactions. P.C. has experience advising public company, private company, and private equity clients in buy- and sell-side corporate transactions, including mergers, stock sales, asset sales, and spin-offs. In addition to providing counsel on transactions, P.C. advises clients on benefits- and compensation-related matters in post-closing, bankruptcy, and day-to-day contexts, including with respect to designing and establishing equity- and cash-based incentive plans as well as employment, severance, and other compensation-related arrangements.
P.C. also maintains an active pro bono practice and was a recipient of the firm’s Thomas H. Morsch Award for Pro Bono Achievement in recognition for his work in assisting clients with obtaining permanent residency and asylum in the United States and coaching mock trial for underprivileged students in Chicago Public Schools.
P.C. received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served on The University of Chicago Law Review.
