Sidley is representing the seller of the TheraBreath brand in its US$580 million sale to Church & Dwight Co., Inc. TheraBreath is a non-alcohol-based oral mouth rinse, and Church & Dwight produces sodium bicarbonate, popularly known as baking soda. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions, is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
