MARGARET TOMASIK focuses on private alternative investment funds – their formation, structuring, management, and related corporate and regulatory matters. Additionally, she advises and represents clients in securities and derivatives trading.
Prior to joining Sidley, Margaret was an associate at a Chicago-based alternative investment management firm.
Margaret earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where she served as chief sources editor of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy. Margaret graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago with a B.A. in Anthropology and minor degrees in Bioethics and Environmental Action & Leadership.
