SITOTA LANGFORD is a senior managing associate in the Securities Enforcement and Regulatory group, which received the 2019 Chambers USA Award for Financial Services Regulation, and was named the “Law Firm of the Year” for Litigation – Regulatory Enforcement (SEC, Telecom, Energy) in 2021, and for Securities Regulation in 2020 and 2017 by U.S. News – Best Lawyers. Her practice focuses on representing individuals, publicly traded companies, and other entities in connection with enforcement actions before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice (DOJ), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She also has experience with government investigations and corporate internal investigations.
Before joining the firm, Sitota was an associate at a boutique law firm focusing on securities enforcement and litigation. Sitota received her J.D. from Howard University School of Law, where she served as captain of the Goler Teal Butcher International Moot Court Team, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida with honors.
