NICK KALINA’s practice focuses on energy and corporate matters, and he advises clients on debt financings, capital markets matters (including federal securities law compliance and public securities offerings (debt and equity)), mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial transactions.
Nick received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (cum laude) graduating with the Emmett E. Eagan Award for Excellence in the field of Corporate Law. During law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Office of the General Counsel at the University of Michigan. Prior to law school, Nick worked in public accounting and holds a CPA certificate (inactive). He graduated with high distinction and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
