The inaugural edition of The Food, Beverage and Cosmetics Law Review, co-edited by Sidley partners Elizabeth M. Chiarello and Kara L. McCall, is now available. This new guide provides a high-level global overview of the various legal and regulatory frameworks for food, beverage, and cosmetic products. With a focus on recent developments, it examines areas such as product safety, supply chain issues (including sustainability, anti-corruption, and labor and immigration), sales and marketing, general product liability and IP laws, the role of trade organizations, and unique issues related to financing and M&A. Contributing editors Elizabeth M. Chiarello and Kara L. McCall, along with Sidley lawyers Diane C. McEnroe and Sarah M. Goldstein, co-authored a U.S.-focused chapter, while Amy P. Lally, Adriane Peralta, Celia H. Spalding, and Patrick D. Rubalcava IV co-authored a chapter on California.
These chapters appeared in Edition 1 of The Food, Beverage and Cosmetics Law Review, published by The Law Reviews (Law Business Research), London.
