Sidley is representing RSA Conference Parent (RSAC), backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P (Clearlake) and Symphony Technology Group (STG), in its spinoff from RSA Security and Crosspoint Capital Partners’ (Crosspoint) acquisition of a significant interest in RSAC, which will become a stand-alone company. Crosspoint will join Clearlake and STG as the principal sponsors of RSAC. The acquisition creates an independent cybersecurity hub to build upon the world’s largest cybersecurity event and further its heritage as the knowledge-broker of the cybersecurity industry.
