Nicole Aiello Martinez

NICOLE AIELLO MARTINEZ is a senior managing associate in the firm’s Chicago office and is a member of the Corporate group.  Her principal areas of practice include M&A, private equity, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.  Nicole advises private and public companies on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, and other complex strategic transactions. 

Nicole has experience representing a wide range of clients in a variety of industries on corporate and commercial transactions, including large-scale company mergers, divisional carve-outs, and M&A auction acquisitions.

• GT Independence, a financial management services company that helps customers select and hire their own caregivers, in connection with its acquisition by H.I.G. Capital.
• HARMAN International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., on its US$350 million carve-out acquisition of Masimo Corporation’s Sound United consumer audio business.
• IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IDEX) in its US$1 billion acquisition of Mott Corporation and its subsidiaries.
• International Game Technology PLC (NYSE: IGT) in the spinoff of its Global Gaming and PlayDigital businesses, which will immediately be combined with Everi Holdings Inc. (NYSE: EVRI) in a deal valued at approximately US$6.2 billion.
