JACK ZERINGUE advises public and private companies on complex corporate and transactional matters, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions. He also advises clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters. Jack’s experience includes representation of clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, marinas, energy, technology, manufacturing, insurance, entertainment, and healthcare. In addition to his transactional practice, Jack routinely provides pro bono services through both the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and Sidley’s Emerging Enterprises Pro Bono Program.
Jack is a member of the firm’s Committee for the Recruiting of Associates for the Dallas office. Outside of the firm, he is an active member in his community. In 2021, Jack was selected as a member of the 2021 Dallas Association of Young Lawyer’s (“DAYL”) 25th annual Leadership Class, which provides opportunities to a group of 40 Dallas-area young lawyers to develop relationships with local city leaders and one another. Additionally, he currently serves as a member of the Young Alumni Advisory Council of the LSU Alumni Association, as the president of the board for the Dallas CASA Young Professional’s Council, and as a member of the KidLinks Energy Golf Classic Committee. In 2023, Jack was invited to become a Fellow of the DAYL Foundation, an elite group of lawyers recognized by their peers and the Board of Trustees of the DAYL Foundation for both their professional distinction and community and bar service. In 2024, Jack was selected as a member of the 2024–2025 Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy Cohort at the Communities Foundation of Texas, a training and networking program focused on the philanthropic landscape in North Texas.
Jack earned his J.D. and D.C.L., both cum laude, from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While attending law school, he was the online editor of the Louisiana Law Review and the executive producer and host of The Legal Ease, a podcast aimed at apprising legal students and professionals of relevant legal topics. He earned his B.A. in finance from the Louisiana State University E.J. Ourso College of Business.
