ISABELLA RUSSO-TIESI focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance, and securities filings.
Prior to joining Sidley, Isabella worked as a legal intern for the Office of Commissioner Nathan Simington at the Federal Communications Commission. She has experience drafting the office position regarding small market duopoly relief in the broadcast media context.
While attending Brooklyn Law School, Isabella served as an editor of the Journal of Law and Policy. She was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and the Brooklyn Law School Faculty Appointment Subcommittee, in addition to externing for the Honorable Vera M. Scanlon in the Eastern District of New York. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and her B.S., summa cum laude, from Fordham University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
