ANDREAS RAUCH focuses his practice on transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, private equity transactions, and related deals. He has also represented both companies and lenders in various restructuring and distressed matters, including bankruptcy proceedings, out of court reorganizations, and distressed M&A and real estate sales.
Andreas also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individual and organizational clients in a variety of transactional and litigation matters.
Andreas served as notes editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Law & Business, as well as acting as co-president of the Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law Group, chair of the Student Bar Association’s External Relations Committee, and vice president of Alumni Relations for the Julius H. Miner Moot Court Competition. Andreas also spent a semester in a practicum with the Northwestern Medicine Office of General Counsel and a summer as an extern with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school, he was a summer fellow for the Office of Lieutenant Governor of California Eleni Kounalakis and worked at a Los Angeles personal injury law firm.
Andreas is a native German and Greek speaker.
