Biography
SERENA PATEL works on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, mortgage and mezzanine financings, and joint ventures. These matters involve a variety of asset types, including office, multi-family, industrial, hotel and hospitality, restaurants and retail, healthcare, and mixed-use projects.
Prior to joining Sidley, Serena was a supervisor and clinical law student at the USC Law Small Business Clinic, where she provided corporate legal assistance with transactional issues to small business owners. She also participated in Sidley’s summer associate program in 2016. While in law school, Serena was a senior editor of the Southern California Law Review.
