KAYLA NGUYEN focuses her practice on technology and life sciences transactions, encompassing M&A, licensing, development, and IP asset transfers. She advises clients across diverse sectors on optimizing IP portfolios and navigating intricate regulatory landscapes.
Kayla earned her J.D. at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She served as an articles editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and as the communications editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Jacqueline H. Nguyen on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also received pro bono honors for her work with Legal Obstacles Veterans Encounter and Swords to Plowshares.
Kayla received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Duke University. During her undergraduate career, she worked with a non-profit to address health, housing, and educational disparities for homeless and at-risk children in the Bay Area.
