JESSE LOPEZ focuses his practice on advising private and public companies, creditors, and investors in all aspects of Chapter 11 reorganizations and out-of-court restructurings, working in a variety of industries including healthcare, energy, and financial services.
Prior to joining Sidley, Jesse worked in human resources as an executive assistant at WGBH Educational Foundation. He also has experience working as a clubhouse assistant for the Boston Red Sox baseball team.
While attending Boston University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, Jesse served as a member of the Public Interest Law Journal and was the vice president for the school’s Latin American Law Students Association. In addition, he worked with the Civil Rights Clinic in representing underprivileged minorities on employment and discrimination cases.
Jesse is fluent in Spanish.
