Claire G. Lee

CLAIRE LEE focuses her practice on a wide range of litigation matters, including complex securities matters, contract disputes, consumer class actions, and appeals.

Before joining Sidley, Claire clerked for the Honorable Joel M. Flaum of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and for the Honorable Steven C. Seeger of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Additionally, she externed at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Illinois and was a Public Interest Law Initiative Fellow at Legal Aid Chicago.

Claire graduated, with honors, from The University of Chicago Law School where she was a Tony Patiño Fellow. While in law school, she served as editor-in-chief for The University of Chicago Legal Forum, vice president of the Law Women’s Caucus, and as a peer advisor. Claire received her B.A. in political science and economics with highest distinction from Purdue University where she was a Stamps Scholar.
