ALLISON IVEY TOTH focuses her practice on employment matters, with an emphasis on end-to-end client service across counseling, transactions, and litigation. She is well-versed in counseling employers on a broad range of issues, including mergers and acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side), employment classification, hiring practices, employment policies, employee terminations, severance, federal and state wage and hour laws, and numerous other issues that arise under federal, state, or local labor and employment law. She also has significant experience with a broad variety of employment litigation matters, including cases involving race, sex, age, harassment, and disability discrimination; cases involving trade secret misappropriation or unauthorized use of trade secrets; and violation of agreements relating to confidentiality and solicitation.
Prior to joining Sidley, Allison worked as an associate at another international law firm.
Allison earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she participated in the Stanford Organizations and Transactions Clinic and was a member of Women of Stanford Law School.
