CHENGYING HUANG focuses her practice on corporate and securities law matters, including structured notes.
Before joining Sidley, Chengying served as a legal intern for a bank. She has experience reviewing the bank’s SEC filings, proxy statements, NDAs, and loan agreements.
While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Chengying served as an articles editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law, and on the executive board of Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She also worked as a student attorney at Georgetown Law's Social Enterprise & Nonprofit Law Clinic, assisting a client with a 501(c)(3) application and governance matters.
Chengying is fluent in Chinese and has a high proficiency in French.
