Prior to joining Sidley, Alex was an associate at a leading U.S. law firm in London.

Recent examples of Alex’s work include advising:

• A private equity-owned British film and television studio in its issuance of £750 million senior secured notes and cash tender offer to purchase £747 million aggregate amount of its previously issued senior secured notes.
• A private equity-owned CDMO and fine chemistry manufacturer in connection with its offering of €670 million senior secured floating rate notes and senior secured fixed rate notes.
• A UK-headquartered diversified global financial services platform in its US$292 million initial public offering.
• One of the world’s leading independent convenience retailers in consent solicitations relating to its US$1.6 billion senior secured notes and €600 million senior secured floating rate cash pay/payment-in-kind notes.
• A large British energy transition company in a tap offering of its previously issued senior secured notes.
• The initial purchasers in connection with the issuance of €650 million senior secured notes and €600 million senior secured floating rate notes by a large healthcare and pharmaceutical company.
• The initial purchasers in the issuance of €600 million senior secured notes by a leading Irish utility group focused on renewable energy and technology.
