
Biography
DR. MARKUS FEIL is head of the firm’s Global Finance practice in Munich. He has a broad range of experience in advising private equity sponsors, funds, corporate, and financial institutions in complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions. He is particularly focused on leveraged buyouts and acquisition finance, syndicated lending, restructuring, real estate finance, asset-based lending, factoring, and other bespoke corporate finance. Furthermore, Markus is experienced in international capital markets transactions and represents issuers, sponsors, and underwriters in the context of German law aspects of high-yield debt offerings. As in previous editions (2020 — 2024), he is currently ranked “Best Lawyer” for Banking and Finance Law by Handelsblatt Best Lawyers 2025.
