ERNESTO CLAEYSSEN focuses his practice on commercial litigation and disputes, government investigations, enforcement actions, and matters related to privacy and cybersecurity law.
Ernesto regularly counsels clients in a wide range of transactional matters, including contract review, privacy and cybersecurity diligence, and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions related to privacy and cybersecurity. Additionally, he drafts and advises on privacy-related materials, including externally and internally facing privacy notices and corporate policies.
Ernesto received his B.A. in political science from Rutgers University – Newark and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude. While attending law school, he served as the senior notes and comments editor of the Rutgers University Law Review and interned for The Honorable Patty Shwartz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
