ROCHELLE BALLANTYNE focuses her practice on commercial litigation and disputes.
Prior to joining Sidley, Rochelle worked as a litigation paralegal for a business and litigation law firm in Washington, D.C., and a global law firm in their San Francisco, California office.
While attending New York University School of Law, Rochelle served as an editor of the NYU Review of Law and Social Change. During law school, she externed with numerous organizations including the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, the ACLU National Prison Project, the National Center for Law and Economic Justice, and the Criminal Division of the Eastern District of New York. Additionally, Rochelle served as a research assistant to Professor Deborah Archer, current President of the ACLU.
