Sidley is representing Contego Medical in connection with a series of related agreements, including an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement and an acquisition option agreement. Under the distribution agreement, Medtronic will be the sole U.S. distributor for Contego’s portfolio of commercially available products. Additionally, pursuant to the agreements, Medtronic, which has held a minority investment in Contego since 2020, made an increased investment in the company and also received an option to acquire Contego.
