Sidley represented Accor on the return of the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand to New Orleans. The hotel and resort, to be known as Fairmont New Orleans, will be located within the historic former Bank of New Orleans Building, one block from the French Quarter, between Bourbon Street and the Caesars Superdome.
Fairmont New Orleans will occupy 18 stories within a 31-story skyscraper, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, several food and drink venues, and a speakeasy overlooking a swimming pool with expansive views of the city. The hotel will be situated among new residences, restaurants, storefronts, and art galleries. This project marks one of the largest private investments in New Orleans in recent years.
Accor offers experiences across more than 110 countries and over 5,500 properties, and has one of the industry’s most diverse hospitality ecosystems, encompassing more than 40 hotel brands that range from economy to luxury.
The Sidley team was led by Gabrielle Cuskelly and Keith Hayden Del Prete with assistance from Samuel Deddeh.
