Sidley represented Fifth Wall as lead investor in the Series C funding round of Ascend Elements, a battery recycling startup that aims to revolutionize lithium-ion recycling through its cutting-edge technology. Other investors in the round included Jaguar Land Rover and South Korean conglomerate SK Group. The deal was featured in a recent Wall Street Journal article titled “Battery Recycling Race Heats up after Inflation Reduction Act.”
