Manoj Bhargava, a partner in Sidley’s Singapore office, and Samir A. Gandhi, a partner in the firm’s New York office, and Deepak Raju, a senior managing associate in the firm’s Geneva office, have been named to India Business Law Journal’s “The International A-List 2025.” The annual feature recognizes the top India-focused lawyers at international law firms recognized for their work on the cross-border aspects of India-related matters.
Manoj co-leads the firm’s India practice. He focuses on international capital markets matters, with particular emphasis on India and Southeast Asia. He has over 25 years of experience and has advised on more than 200 equity and debt capital markets offerings, helping raise around US$65 billion for Indian companies.
Samir is the global practice leader of the firm’s Capital Markets group, a co-leader of the firm’s India practice, and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Sam focuses on capital markets offerings, corporate matters, and private equity transactions. He represents sponsors, issuers, and underwriters in a broad range of capital markets activities.
Deepak is an international disputes lawyer with over 10 years of professional experience and represents clients in complex international disputes involving an economic, commercial, or geopolitical dimension. He advises sovereign States, international organizations, and companies before a wide range of forums of international dispute settlement, including investment and commercial arbitral tribunals, panels and the Appellate Body of the World Trade Organization, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, and the International Court of Justice.
