Jennifer Saulino and Gregory M. Williams, both partners in Sidley’s Washington, D.C. office, have been honored at the 2025 Benchmark Litigation U.S. Awards. Jennifer has been named the winner in the “Trial Lawyer of the Year” category, while Greg has been recognized as the “International Arbitration Litigator of the Year.” Notably, this is the second time Greg has won this accolade, having also been honored at the 2023 ceremony. The annual awards celebrate “the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms for their exemplary work over the past 12 months.”
Jennifer is a global co-leader of Sidley’s Product Liability practice. As a fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers, Jennifer possesses an unusual ability to translate complex legal theories into simple, clear messages for judges and juries. As a first-chair trial lawyer, she focuses on synthesizing extensive case findings into crisp themes; uncovering and dissecting critical, compelling facts; and shaping successful strategies that position clients for optimal results. With her experience trying complex, lengthy cases to jury verdicts in numerous federal and state courts across the country, individuals and corporations consistently seek her leadership when faced with tough litigation.
Greg is a co-leader of the firm’s Global Arbitration, Trade and Advocacy practice. His practice focuses on complex commercial arbitration and litigation, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). His diverse experience includes serving as lead counsel in high-stakes disputes involving a wide range of claims cutting across several industries, including construction, energy, aerospace, defense and government contracts, mining, shipping, infrastructure, life sciences, technology, crypto, financial services, and more.
