Sidley partner Michael Borden will be speaking in a panel on “A View from Washington and Beyond” at the annual Directors Summit of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) in Washington, D.C. on October 7. Panelists will explore how current events and trends, including the US presidential election, the US policy and legislative agenda, and geopolitical dynamics will impact business risk and strategies, stakeholders, and governance practices in the short and long term. The NACD Directors Summit will be held October 6-9, 2024.
NACD represents and serves individual board members and corporate boards of public, private, and nonprofit organizations from both the United States and overseas. NACD's membership includes more than 1,750 corporate boards as well as several thousand individual members, for a total of more than 24,000 members. NACD collaborates with Sidley Austin and other industry leaders to provide directors with impactful information and data on the topics and practices they value most in corporate governance and board leadership.
