TAYLOR WOOD is a managing associate in the M&A and Private Equity group in the firm’s New York office. Her practice includes representing clients in public mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance, and shareholder activism matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Taylor worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Sandra Ikuta of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth District.
While attending Columbia Law School, Taylor served as co-president of Columbia Law Women’s Association and co-founder of the law school’s annual Women Running for Office Conference. Taylor was also selected as a New York Pro Bono Scholar. In this role, she worked as the Legal Fellow at Start Small Think Big, a non-profit that provides pro bono legal services to under-resourced entrepreneurs covering a variety of legal issues, including corporate governance, contracts, commercial leases, employment, and intellectual property.
