SOPHIE STEVENS advises on a broad range of private equity and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, management equity plans, and general corporate work.

Prior to joining Sidley, Sophie was a senior associate in the Corporate practice of another international law firm.

Recent experience includes advising:

• VisionEdgeOne in its investment in RE2sources, an Italian biomethane producer.
• STORY3 Capital Partners, the Los Angeles based private equity firm, on its significant minority investment in Adanola, a leading UK-based athleisure and activewear brand.
• Evri, a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc., in respect of Evri’s acquisition of DHL eCommerce, the e-commerce logistics specialist of DHL Group, as part of the Evri and DHL merger.
• Infrabridge and Achieve together on the strategic acquisition by Achieve together of the adult residential services business from Outcomes First Group.
• A UK insurance company on its merger with another major insurance company and the co-investment by existing and new private equity sponsors in the combined entity.
• A UK insurance company on various equity investments by existing and new private equity sponsors.
• A portfolio company on the secondary transfer by its U.S. private equity sponsor.
