GAELLE PIERRE-LOUIS focuses her practice on the structuring, operation, and offering of alternative investment funds, including hedge funds and private equity funds. In addition, she works with traditional and alternative investment advisers on regulatory compliance requirements, structures, and programs, ongoing compliance monitoring, testing protocols, and the management and coordinating of regulatory exams and reviews.
Gaelle received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she also received a Certificate in Management in Business from The Wharton School. During her time in law school, Gaelle studied international corporate law abroad at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, as an exchange student. She received her Ed.M. at Harvard Graduate School of Education and her B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she studied abroad at the Sorbonne in Paris, France.
Prior to attending law school, Gaelle worked for two years as an admissions officer at Georgetown University Office of Undergraduate Admissions. She currently serves on the Associate Board of Row New York and as a mentor with the TEAK Fellowship.
