HANA LEE provides counsel to clients on a wide range of corporate, disclosure, financing, shareholder engagement and activism, and corporate governance matters. During her time at Sidley, Hana has worked on a number of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets offerings, SEC disclosure matters, venture capital financings, and shareholder activism campaigns.
While in law school, Hana served on the board of the Harvard Legal Entrepreneurship Program and as a teaching assistant to Professor Scott Westfahl for his course in Innovation in Legal Education and Practice. She also assisted in the legal representation of a number of small business and community non-profit organizations as a member of the Community Enterprise Project legal team and in the design of dispute and mediation systems for organizations as a member of the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation project team. Additionally, she participated in LawWithoutWalls, an international legal innovation collaborative designed to address current issues facing the legal profession and the market, where her team won the category for Best Idea.
Prior to joining Sidley, Hana was a Graduate Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Fellow at the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship.
