For the second year in a row, Sidley earned the top spot in the Thomson Reuters League Tables as issuer counsel in the category of U.S. debt, equity and equity-related, as well as the number three ranked underwriter counsel. In addition, for the third year in a row, Sidley earned the top spot as both issuer counsel and underwriter counsel in the category of U.S. straight debt, including ABS and MBS, driven by the Firm’s market-leading positions on U.S. investment grade debt offerings and on U.S. ABS and MBS issuances.
This continued recognition reflects the combined strength of both the Firm’s issuer and underwriter capital markets practices. Overall, Sidley received rankings in 25 of the 38 categories of the survey, which is based on number of deals.
In the global categories, Sidley was ranked number three issuer counsel and number three underwriter counsel for global straight debt, including ABS and MBS. In addition, the Firm was ranked number one underwriter counsel for Australia international bonds for the third consecutive year and was ranked fourth and fifth respectively in the categories of underwriter counsel and issuer counsel for Asia Pacific G3 bonds.
