Sidley Represents Welltower in Its US$3.2 Billion Acquisition of Amica Senior Lifestyles Portfolio

Sidley is representing Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL) in its pending US$3.2 billion acquisition of a portfolio of senior housing communities from Amica Senior Lifestyles. The portfolio consists of 38 ultra-luxury senior housing communities and nine entitled development parcels in Toronto, Vancouver, and Victoria. The transaction includes a long-term growth partnership with Amica Senior Lifestyles. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approval.
