Netanya Clixby, a managing associate in Sidley’s London office, has been selected as a finalist for the “Rising Star of the Year” award at the Inspirational Women in Law Awards 2022, which recognizes the contribution of a legal practitioner who has made “a significant contribution to achieving equality for women in Law.” The awards, hosted by The Next 100 Years, bring the work of trailblazing individuals to the attention of the wider legal community and beyond.
Netanya’s practice focuses on advising buy-side and sell-side clients on a range of derivatives and trading documentation, including ISDA master agreements, prime brokerage documentation, master confirmations, and repurchase agreements. She is involved with a range of pro bono work, including acting as a Steering Committee member for The Law Society’s LGBT+ Lawyers Division. She is also head of Income Generation for Open For Business, a global charity that uses economic data to make the business case for LGBT+ inclusion worldwide. Netanya was selected to join the ISDA Future Leaders in Derivates program, which identifies and develops emerging leaders in the derivatives industry.
