Austin M Schlatter

AUSTIN SCHLATTER focuses her practice on representing financial institutions in connection with investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Department of Justice (DOJ).

She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as the senior development manager for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law.

Prior to joining Sidley, Austin was a law clerk to the Honorable Roderick C. Young of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Austin also interned with the DOJ in the Federal Tort Claims Act Litigation Section.
