Sidley Matter Shortlisted at Latin Lawyer’s 2026 Deal of the Year Awards

Nordstrom’s US$6.25 billion acquisition by members of the Nordstrom Family and El Puerto de Liverpool has been shortlisted in the “Mergers and Acquisitions: Public Companies” category at Latin Lawyer’s 2026 Deal of the Year Awards. Sidley represented the special committee of the board of directors of Nordstrom in the all-cash, take-private transaction.

The annual awards, now in their 20th year, identify the landmark Latin American deals and cases of the previous 12 months.
