The role of the Inclusion Committee is to ensure that Sidley is focused on creating a positive and supportive work environment through high-quality educational programs, mentoring, professional development, as well as affinity initiatives. Their efforts foster a sense of belonging so that every lawyer can maximize their personal and professional potential, thus enhancing our ability to provide legal services of the highest quality to our clients.

Our supplier diversity program is designed to provide equitable opportunities that permit a variety of vendors to compete for our business, including those certified to be owned by minorities, women, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, service-disabled veteran, HUBZone certified, and Small Disadvantaged Businesses. We believe that a diverse supply chain positively impacts the community, drives innovation, fosters economic growth, and creates a competitive advantage for the firm. While we work diligently to implement transparent and inclusive sourcing practices that allow diverse suppliers to compete on equal footing, we do not create quotas or set-asides that would violate anti-discrimination laws.
