DANIEL WEI focuses his practice on emerging companies and venture capital.
Prior to joining Sidley, Daniel was an associate at an international law firm, where he represented financial institutions, private equity firms, and commercial borrowers in a variety of financial transactions.
Daniel earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he graduated with honors and was a recipient of the Dean’s Service Award. While in law school, he served as the President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and as the managing editor of the Emory International Law Review. Further, while in law school, Daniel gained general corporate experience working as a legal intern at Novelis Inc., the global leader in rolled aluminum products and aluminum recycling, where he assisted on projects related to regulatory, internal compliance, and securities matters.
