KYLE TANZER is a commercial litigator focusing on antitrust, sports, and investigations. Kyle litigates antitrust matters involving monopoly, refusal to deal, and conspiracy across various industries, including professional sports leagues for golf and pickleball. Under his sports practice, Kyle also advises the National Football League (NFL) teams and other professional franchises on the litigation implications relating to their stadium deals with a particular focus on Non-Relocation Agreements.
In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Kyle defends large corporations in internal and complex government investigations relating to antitrust and securities law issues.
Kyle also advises a Big Four accounting firm on its proposals for government contracts and defends those submissions from public disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Prior to joining Sidley, Kyle was a litigation associate at an international law firm, where he primarily represented financial institutions on commercial disputes and one of the largest chemical companies in mass tort litigations. After two years of practicing in New York, Kyle joined a global firm, where he focused on commercial disputes, including breach of contracts, restrictive covenants, and trade secrets.
