JACOB STEINBERG-OTTER represents clients in all stages of litigation, with a focus on critical motions practice and appeals in complex commercial and regulatory disputes. He also maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented clients in appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court and advised them on issues concerning constitutional law and statutory interpretation.
Jacob rejoined the firm following clerkships with The Honorable Helene N. White of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and with The Honorable Cormac J. Carney of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Jacob earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude and served as executive technical editor of the Harvard Law & Policy Review and lead article editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.
Prior to law school, Jacob served as an investigative analyst at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard College.
