AMANDA STEGER is a litigator and trial lawyer. While her practice consists largely of product liability, toxic tort, and mass tort litigation, she is often recruited to join trial teams across different practices as they get closer to the courthouse steps. With experience managing high-stakes litigation, including leading joint defense groups in multidistrict litigation, located in state and federal courts across the country, Amanda is well-positioned to see cases from inception to end game strategies. Specifically, Amanda has drafted and argued successful motions and appellate briefs, managed pre-trial briefing and evidentiary strategies, and developed witness strategies both for deposition and the courtroom.
Amanda is a proud Baylor Lawyer. During her time at Baylor University School of Law, she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Mock Trial Team, co-president of the Women’s Legal Society, chosen to serve as a practice court assistant, and served as an editor for two publications: Texas Commercial Causes of Action: Claims, Defenses and Remedies and Texas Courtroom Evidence. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in political science, international relations, and comparative politics, from Abilene Christian University.
Before attending law school, Amanda led efforts as an AmeriCorps VISTA and in the nonprofit sector to improve the lives of Texas’s children. Now, she uses her legal background to support the community around her. In her free time, Amanda enjoys making memories with her children and husband, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and mentoring future leaders.
