CAROLINE SPECK’s practice focuses on energy and infrastructure matters.
Caroline earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2023, where she graduated, magna cum laude, and was recognized as a member of the Order of the Barons, the Order of the Coif, and the Order of Scribes. She holds a B.A. in English (with honors) and Studio Art from Washington and Lee University, where she graduated, cum laude, in 2018.
During law school, Caroline served as president of the Energy and Environmental Law Society (2022–2023) and a Board 60 member of the Houston Law Review (2021–2023). She was also a Legal Writing Fellow (2021–2022) and research assistant from 2022–2023. Caroline also interned with the Railroad Commission of Texas (2021) and The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2023).
Prior to attending law school, Caroline was awarded the George A. Mahan Award for Creative Writing (2016) and the Studio Art Thesis Award (2018).
