CAITLAN ROCHA advises clients on a wide range of corporate and securities issues, including complex business and cross-border transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions involving public and private entities in the life sciences, technology, and healthcare industries. Caitlan has represented public companies on a range of securities law matters, including SEC periodic reporting obligations, proxy disclosures, and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Caitlan worked as an associate at an international law firm and served as a judicial extern to a federal judge in the Northern District of California.
Caitlan earned her J.D. with pro bono honors from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she served on the board of Women of Berkeley Law and as an editor on the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law and the Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law.
Caitlan earned her B.S., summa cum laude, from Arizona State University in justice studies and was recognized as the “Justice & Social Inquiry Outstanding Undergraduate Alumna” for 2020.
