FRANCESCA OZINAL’s practice focuses on healthcare enforcement, regulatory, and compliance matters. This includes advising clients with respect to fraud and abuse, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and the False Claims Act; federal healthcare program coverage and reimbursement; healthcare compliance programs; telehealth and telemedicine; and state and federal licensure issues. Francesca advises a wide range of clients on these issues, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, physician practices, private equity firms, and telehealth companies.
Francesca received her law degree from the American University Washington College of Law, cum laude, where she served as the executive editor of the Administrative Law Review. She graduated cum laude and with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in political science and communication studies.
Prior to joining the firm, Francesca was an associate at another national law firm where she worked predominately on healthcare regulatory counseling and enforcement matters.
