RYAN METZ focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate governance, and shareholder activism work.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ryan earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and worked as a law clerk in the legal investments division at an insurance company.
While attending Boston College Law School, Ryan served as a senior editor of the Boston College Law Review and served in the Boston College COVID Relief Legal Services program. Ryan received his B.S., cum laude, from The Pennsylvania State University, and a minor in the Legal Environment of Business.
